ALTERNATIVE PROCESS

My teaching integrates historical photographic processes, material experimentation, and collaborative making across classroom, workshop, and public program contexts.

Cyanotype Instruction
Instruction in cyanotype across multiple teaching contexts, including Photoville, the New York Public Library, Penumbra Foundation, and the School of Visual Arts. Students explore image-making through exposure, material experimentation, and process-based learning.

Anthotype Workshop (Climate Action Fellows)
A collaborative workshop using plant-based photographic processes to explore photography and environmental materiality. In partnership with the Mills Farm Climate Action Fellows, participants used locally sourced plant material to produce anthotype images.

Pinhole & Laser Cutting Workshop
Students designed and fabricated pinhole cameras using laser cutting, then produced and developed images in the darkroom.

Commissioned Work
Selected professional work using alternative photographic processes, including commissioned projects.
